Review by hotel critic
Nestled conveniently near Rato train station, Amazonia Lisboa beckons with its simple charm and easy accessibility. My room, though modest, offered a splendid view from the balcony, ideal for unwinding after a day of coaching surfers. The Xingu Restaurant and Bar, boasting Brazilian flair, served up a buffet breakfast daily. As an Italian with a discerning palate, there was a notable hint of novelty in each bite, subtly differentiating it from the typical fare. The straw-textured wallpaper added an exotic touch to the dining ambiance, playing well alongside the culinary innovation. Exploring nearby eateries like Fogo de Chao and Sabor & Arte added delightful variety to my stay. For a surf instructor accustomed to dynamic environments, Amazonia Lisboa presented a serene retreat with a flavorful twist.
